Software Assurance Training Vouchers provide organisations with training days on instructor-led technical classroom training. These courses are designed to help IT Professionals and Developers deploy, manage and support organisation infrastructure.
The main benefits of Software Assurance Training Vouchers are that they reduce the overall IT training budget, help attendees to build and refresh their technical skills, and help to prepare IT Professionals and Developers for successful deployments of Microsoft technologies.
The number of training days that you will get depends on the licensing program and the number of qualifying licenses that you have with Software Assurance. Typically, you will be granted 2 days of voucher training for every 50 application pool licenses (e.g. Office) covered by Software Assurance. For system pool licenses (e.g. Windows client upgrade) this ratio is 1:50.

What courses can you train on?
Microsoft Official Courses developed for IT Professionals and Developers are eligible for using Software Assurance Training Vouchers. Courses not eligible include those for end-users (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel and Word). Additionally, Microsoft Hands-on Labs, First Look Clinics and beta courses are not eligible for Software Assurance Training Vouchers.
Claiming your Software Assurance Training Vouchers
It is important to ensure that you claim and use all of your training vouchers as they do expire. Some organisations are not even aware that they qualify for Software Assurance Training Vouchers and so fail to claim and use all of their vouchers.
